Why you need a Producer at your shoot.

WHY YOU NEED A PRODUCER AT YOUR SHOOT.

For the same reasons that you need a Director at your shoot, a Producer oversees each project from conception to completion. They ensure that everything runs smoothly with the shoot for everyone on set. At Mediabox Productions our Producers work with our clients to ensure that we deliver a script to screen process. From the initial pre-production phase, right through to production and post-production and beyond into promoting your media content to the highest audience possible

They begin by planning every aspect of your video. This starts with the development stage. At this important stage of the project the producer will liaise with our client to fully understand the scope of the project and how we can achieve the goals and requirements of the client.

ORGANISATION: PRE-PRODUCTION

The Producer also coordinates the filmmaking process to ensure that everyone involved in the project is working on schedule and on budget. The finalisation of the script and storyboards, planning the filming, the locations, the logistics schedule and organising all of the cast and crew.

ON SET: PRODUCTION

Whilst filming the Producer ensures that everything goes according to the carefully planned schedule. They act as the client’s eyes and ears throughout the shoot ensuring that their wishes are carried out fully.

IN EDIT: POST-PRODUCTION

When all filming is complete the Producer reviews all footage with the Director and Editor and discusses order and selection of scenes to produce a rough cut (approval copy) which is then previewed to the client in a private screening. Extensive notes are taken and reviewed for the on-line edit.
