PROJECT BRIEF

Woodbrook Vale School required a promotional video to showcase their place of learning to prospective parents and students. We were asked to provide filming and editing for the project with a tight turnaround of less than one week. The video would replace their open evening event and be shown across their school website and You Tube channel.

THE CHALLENGE

After meeting with the Head Teacher of the school it was very clear that they were a school that had very high standards and that the video needed to reflect how dedicated each staff member was to every student. We were able to view their excellent teaching methods and use of modern technology within their lessons. The promotional video needed to convey the schools core values and ethos, whilst being upbeat, lively and fun.

THE SOLUTION

We decided to schedule a recce day in with the school, so that we could plan the locations to set up the interviews with the staff and students. We then filmed to a tight schedule, which was timetabled with the school in advance so that everyone knew where they need to be and at what time. once we had all the footage in the can it was back to the studio to start the edit with a first draft approval sent two days after for feedback. The end result was enjoyed by all and shown to prospective parents.
