PROJECT BRIEF

Having already created a promotional video for the Nottingham based full service engineering company, Goodman Metal Works, they asked us to produce a new responsive website to launch their new branding.

THE CHALLENGE

We meet with the Goodman Metal Works team on a monthly basis to manage their marketing and promote their social media content. At one of our meetings the Managing Director decided that it was time for a new website and set Mediabox Productions to work on creating a bespoke and fully responsive website for the company. The new website should feature their new branding and colour scheme, their extended services and their latest projects.

THE SOLUTION

We started by looking at their UX (user experience) and UI (user interface) for the website. We created personas for the type of customer that would visit the website and designed the website layout and build with this in mind. We knew that the projects page was going to be a main feature of the site and so wanted to present this on the home page under latest projects and also as a separate project/portfolio page in its entirety. We also wanted to display their video within the slider and as a separate view. The team were delighted with the final website and are already seeing an increase in daily, weekly and monthly visitors to their new site.
