PROJECT BRIEF

ERF Electrical are investing in a project information management system (PIM) which will enable their staff to have a centralized platform in which to upload and output all documents, client account information and images and videos to.  They required a video animation to highlight this change to their staff and the important role that this system will play.

THE CHALLENGE

The team were clear from the start that they currently have “outdated” methods of working and wanted to highlight this. We also knew that the animation needed to feature their popular mascots Erf and Essen who we had created in the previous animation showcasing their company core values.

THE SOLUTION

Firstly we met with the ERF electrical team and discussed the many ways in which we could execute the brief. We wanted to present the current way of working was flawed with mistakes and important documents being misplaced or lost and that the PIM would eliminate this by having all documents accessible by everyone across all departments. We decided to show Erf the glow worm struggling with the current system and Essen already benefiting from the PIM.
