PROJECT BRIEF

The Drilling and Sawing Association required a series of training videos for their range of tools. The videos would be used on their teaching platform, designed for apprentices to learn from.

THE CHALLENGE

The videos needed to explain the various tools functionality and use. Each manufacturers tools are unique and therefore each tool needed a full explanation of the controls and buttons to operate the machinery.

THE SOLUTION

We worked closely with the Drilling and Sawing team to ensure that the presentation of each tool was accurate and led by a professional presenter who had many years experience using the various tools. We filmed the sequences on location at a pre-built concrete set designed within stand the various drills and saws cutting through it. As these videos were designed as a teaching aid, we decided that a voice over was not required and instead we would use on screen text to identify each control button and highlight the safety elements when the tool was in use. We combined this with a powerful soundtrack to accompany each video.
